Apollo Bay Accommodation at Alyeska Llama Farm Retreat: Fully self contained cottages.
Alyeska is 120 acres of steep, hilly, grazing land
in the Otway Ranges hinterland overlooking the coastal, resort town
of Apollo Bay and beyond across Bass Strait, Victoria. Blackwood and
Blue Gums line the surrounding valleys from Paradise to the tip of Killala.
Birdlife is plentiful and a wallaby may temporarily block your path.
A seamist will sometimes settle in the valley and block out the sun
on your way home from fishing holes in the West Barham river that flanks
Alyeska's western boundary. If you wish to get out and about during
your stay you will find that Alyeska is very near many of the Otways
major tourist
attractions. and also en route to the famous Shipwreck
Coast and its many attractions including the 12 Apostles. Grazing
is the primary role of the property. 300 Perondale sheep and about 30
Angus cattle are support activities to the key tenants which are Llamas
of Alyeska. |
