Apollo Bay Accommodation at Rayville Boat Houses.

Apollo Bay Accommodation at Rayville Boat Houses: Fully self contained holiday accommodation.
The City of Rayville was an American ship that went
down off the coast of Cape Otway after hitting a mine laid by German
raider boats. Nine fishermen from Apollo Bay went to the rescue of the
crew of this destroyed ship. These units are a tribute to these men
who risked their lives and each of the 10 units are named after one
of these men. Apollo Bay is traditionally a quiet little fishing village
that has emerged into a great family retreat in summer for those who
want the beauty & tranquility of a town on the Great Ocean Road,
and in winter it turns into a cosy little town where couples can come
& enjoy the peaceful surroundings 'The Bay' has to offer. Rayville
is also nearby many of the major tourist
attractions of the Otway Ranges and also en route to the famous
Shipwreck
Coast and its many attractions including the 12 Apostles. |
