book.Wongarra Heights is a 40 hectare property with a half kilometre
frontage to the Great Ocean Road, affording panoramic views of the Great
Southern Ocean. It is situated 12 kilometres east of Apollo Bay - two
and a half hours from Melbourne. Guests may, if feeling energetic, explore
the property or just relax on the verandah, gazebo or in the sitting
room. Originally a farmhouse, the homestead became a guesthouse in 1938.
Over the years it also served as the telephone exchange and post office.

Shipwreck
