Gellibrand, situated in the foothills of the Otway Ranges, located some 180 kilometres from Melbourne and 30 kilometres from Colac, is one of those small country towns which just exudes rustic charm. Gellibrand is on the Colac - Lavers Hill Road which continues on to either Apollo Bay in one direction and the 12 Apostles in the other. Rivers in close proximity to Gellibrand offer excellent fishing, especially if you're after blackfish or trout. In fact, Gellibrand is renowned as Home of the Blackfish. The Otway Fly is just 15 minutes away and the Great Ocean Road is a 40 minute drive. The local pub is said to have very nice meals.
