Wye River Tourist Park is situated at Wye River
on the world famous Great Ocean Road between Lorne and Apollo Bay in
Western Victoria, Australia. They offer fully self-contained cabin accommodation
with ensuites which offer splendid views over the Wye River Valley.
There are also powered caravan sites and ample areas for camping beside
the Wye River. Nature tours and eco tours are available in the surrounding
hinterland to view kangaroos, koalas and the beautiful King Parrots.
Surfing and fishing can be enjoyed at the popular beach directly opposite
the park. Close to many of the major tourist
attractions of the Otway Ranges and also en route to the famous
Shipwreck
Coast and its many attractions including the 12 Apostles. |

The park is spread over 24 acres or 10 hectares
and is dissected by the beautiful Wye River, a fresh water stream with
origins in the Otway Ranges. The valley is surrounded by steep, natural
eucalypt forests. On the other side of the Great Ocean Road from the
park is a great fishing and surfing beach. There is safe swimming in
the shallows of the river behind the ocean sandbar. And of course there
is also great diving and fishing. |
