Lavers Hill is the highest point on the Great Ocean Road. If you are just travelling through it is a must stop. You’ll probably need fuel for the car and yourself. You can get all of that here. The Shoppe does great coffee and all day breakfasts and makes great home made pies and sausage rolls. Blackwood Gully has meals during the day. Yatzies is the local takeaway, the Otway Central Tavern has very cold beer, great evening meals and the Otway Junction Motel can serve up some great fresh fish and does a mean pizza. If you decdie to stay here there are cottages and B&Bs or if you like you can stay at the tavern or motel. Lavers Hill accommodation is basic but comfortable.
Lavers Hill is very close to everything which makes it a very popular destination. The closest attraction is Melba Gully, named after our illustrious opera singer. Lots of other things to see and do – just ask at one of the shops.
