Countrywide Cottages in Deans Marsh offer four star, Otway farm stay accommodation in self-contained cottages. Choose from their four private cottages spread over 26 acres of farm and pristine bushland. Fresh eggs from the chickens, friendly alpacas and a dam full of yabbys. What kid wouldn’t like cooking up some yabbys around a campfire at night. Pets welcome.
Pennyroyal Farm Cottages
Pennyroyal is just a short, scenic drive from Lorne and the Great Ocean Road. Pennyroyal Farm shelters below the ridge looking out over the valley to the State Forest. They offer a variety of private, self contained cottages to suit a range of needs and budgets. The cottages are cute, cozy and unique. Some boast soaring timber ceilings whilst others have a country, homestead feel. Outside are sundecks and the privacy of large yards with extensive, native gardens surrounding the cottages and an abundance of bird life. There are also farm animals in the surrounding paddocks that include our resident goats and cattle. Inside the cottages, enjoy the ambience of radiant heat from wood fires with ample firewood supplied. There are also reverse cycle air conditioners and ceiling fans in each cottage. Each cottage is private and comes fully equipped so that all you would need to bring is food! Pennyroyal Farm is a pet friendly property.
Otway Fields
Enjoy a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life when you stay with us at Otway Fields. The prime position of the safari inspired cabin offers glimpses into daily farm life as sheep, cows and horses graze in front of you. You may even be lucky enough to watch our neighbour move his herd of cattle. Watch the weather change from red sunrises to misty mornings & observe amazing birdlife. Parkwood Cottage
Parkwood Cottage, situated at the highest point on the Great Ocean Road, is a recently completed cottage exclusively for couples. Being located within the owner’s extensive property enables guests to take full advantage of the magnificent surrounds. Rainforest walks, water features, loads of native parrots and of course this property can also boast its own gloworms. Some very lovely Alpacas here as well.
King Parrot
King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre sits on 200 acres of a combination of bush and grazing land providing family friendly accommodation, fresh country air and experiences. With bush walks, spring feed creek, games room, swimming pool, yabbying and farm animals. Say hello to Tess and Spike the horses, Gypsy and Coco the miniature donkeys who are always keen to say hello as well as Fincha and Poncho our alpacas or make friends with some of the wildlife that call King Parrot land home, including kangaroos, wallabies, reptiles, echidnas and many different types of birdlife.
